TOP COP 2022
On October 14th, the Law Enforcement and Security Coalition of Hawaii held its annual Top Cop awards at the Ala Moana Hotel, recognizing distinguished security professionals across Hawaii.
We are proud to announce that five Hokua team members—Juliano Ahlstrand, Darek Felipe, Ngai Brash, Kevin Agno, and Richard Lagura—were honored for their role in a critical medical assist for a longtime resident. Each received a Top Cop medal and certificate for their dedication.
Thank you to the neighboring unit owner who helped make this response possible. This is the fourth time Hokua staff have earned this recognition. Please join us in congratulating them on upholding the “Hokua’s Finest” title!

We are excited to share a special announcement from the Law Enforcement and Security Coalition of Hawaii’s recent Top Cop awards ceremony. Held on Friday, October 18th, the Top Cop ceremony honors local, state, federal, military, and law enforcement security professionals who have demonstrated exceptional service throughout the past year.
We are proud to announce that three of Hokua’s very own Residential Specialists—Michael Binder, Jaris Pai, and Graham Sojot—were recognized for their heroic actions in a medical emergency. Each of them was awarded a Top Cop medal and certificate in recognition of their outstanding performance.

IREM Awards Gala & Installation 2024
On Saturday, October 26th IREM Hawaii held its annual Awards Gala, and we’re thrilled to announce that our Executive Associate, Kristin Mori, was sworn in as an Accredited Resident Manager (ARM)! This esteemed designation recognizes Kristin’s dedication and expertise, making her the sixth member of the current Hokua team to achieve it.
