Top Cop - 2022

On Friday, October 14th, The Law Enforcement and Security Coalition of Hawaii held its Top Cop awards ceremony at the Ala Moana Hotel’s Hibiscus Room. The Top Cop event recognizes local, state, federal, military, and law enforcement security professionals who have distinguished themselves over the past year. This was the first in-person ceremony since 2019 due to COVID-19.​

We are pleased to announce that during the ceremony, five (5) Hokua employees were honored and presented with the Top Cop award for their part in a medical assist involving a longtime Hokua resident owner. Juliano Ahlstrand, Darek Felipe, Ngai Brash, Kevin Agno, and Richard Lagura were awarded medals and the Top Cop certificate for their actions in the line of duty.

A special “Thank You” to a neighboring unit owner who made their efforts possible by alerting them of the emergency. This is the fourth time Hokua staff members have received the Top Cop award.
